FREE PRESENTATIONS

Presentations are free of charge for 6th–12th grade,
college students, and adult audiences in the Boston region.
Each presentation is highly interactive, age appropriate,
flexible in length, and presented in an engaging and
empowering manner.

Multiple presentations are strongly encouraged to establish a
meaningful forum in which participants can explore their
circle of compassion.

How do we, with the help of historians and philosophers, define our own personal circle of compassion as it relates to humans, other species, and the environment? Whom do we include or exclude, and why?

Eating breakfast, getting dressed, and doing the dishes are daily actions that have a powerful effect on the world around us. A revealing demonstration of lifestyle choices that are healthy for the planet and all who share it.

Got stuff? Explore the connections between mass media, advertising, and our daily choices. Participants will uncover the secret lives of consumer products and their hidden costs to animals, the environment, and people.

A lively look at an important part of everyone's daily lives - food! What we eat for lunch today impacts not only our own health, but the health of other species, the planet, and people around the world.

“Our task must be to free ourselves
by widening our circle of compassion
to embrace all living creatures
and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Dr. Albert Einstein

Presentations are offered free of charge thanks to a generous grant from the Komie Foundation through the International Institute for Humane Education.
